mumsey and sue are visiting from minnesota and the going-to-the-sun road is open!

the last hotel is clean now, after a lovely week of bonfires and rock picking in the St. Mary Valley. our opening crew has disbanded, and i am done scrubbing showers for a while. tonite i start slinging burgers and huckleberry pie.

the hotels we're cleaning have been empty all winter. the rooms are wrecked, my body feels broken in half, it snows or rains every day, there's a mouse in my room, and the food is shit.

i'm psychotically happy to be here.
